As a business owner, you want to save as much money as you can and get the maximum return on your investment for every single penny spent. Long gone are the days that advertising on billboards or the side of a bus were effective or efficient (or cheap for that matter). In today’s day, we have the internet, more specifically we have Social Media.

Social Media has caused the greatest change to our civilization in the past 50 years. Companies like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter get millions of visitors every single day! They are great places from which you can gain new business and make sales. They make advertising online the new thing of the future. According to Statistica, “Facebook's global advertising revenue from 2009 to 2018. In the most recently reported year, the social media network generated 55 billion U.S. dollars in ad revenues.” This makes FB a gold mine for advertising.

According to the State of Inbound Marketing 2012 The Takeaway, “42% of marketers report that Facebook is critical or important to their business.” So, it seems that FB is the tool of the future for businesses. Below we have listed the top reasons you should be using Facebook ads for your business.

The internet made it possible for anyone in the world to find anything they want. Thanks to search engines like Yahoo, Google, and Bing (which are the top three most important search sites) you can search for a product or service and find what you are looking for within seconds. It’s a miracle for everyone, the customers and you as a business owner. But, how are people supposed to find you when you are new and just starting out? This is exactly why the use of Search Engine Optimization is important for small businesses because it has made it possible for otherwise unknown brands to get seen by your everyday consumer without needing to put up billboard ads or hand out flyers on the side of a busy shopping center.

When people go to Google or other search sites they are looking for something in particular so what they do is type in something called keywords. Keywords are a word or combination of words or phrases that condense the person, place, or thing that the person is searching for down to a more narrow result making them easier to find. It’s our job as a brand or business to make it easy for others to find us. This is what is called Search Engine Optimization, also known as SEO.

If you wish to be seen on the internet then you need to have one or more of the following so when people search for you they can find you: authority (from having a history as a popular brand or business), high rank on search sites (showing up at the top of the search index through SEO), or locality (being within a certain radius of the person searching for you). In this article, we will give you the top 5 reasons why SEO is important for a small business or brand.

You’ve probably already spent so much money on building your business that to add another paid traffic method of gaining leads or making sells just isn’t making you feel very optimistic. However, fear not entrepreneurs and influencers! There is a way to grow your following, generate more leads, and increase your number of sales through online marketing using Instagram! And here’s a secret... it’s completely FREE!

Instagram has EXPLODED in popularity and it seems like everyone and their mother (and their even grandmother) is using Instagram these days. When it comes to using it for business purposes it is amazingly effective and we are about to show you ways you can grow your following on Instagram to get closer to your 1000 true fans, and thus success.

# 5: Use Hashtags

    • Hashtags seem to be running the online world lately. They’re everywhere! Well, that is for good reason and it’s because when you use a hashtag you are basically encouraging people who search that word to find your post. This will lead to people clicking on your post, liking it, engaging with it by commenting, and even checking out other posts an/or following you.

# 4: Use The Correct Hashtags

    • You want people to find you who are your ideal customers. Your ideal customer will probably be searching for words in an area or field that interests them and if you happen to be in that field or area of expertise then it’s your post and profile they will find when searching. So, if you are in the fitness space then you want to use hashtags like #exercise or #nutrition (or something related to fitness) and not some irrelevant hashtag like #astronaut because that would have nothing to do with your branding, your products, or your services as a fitness professional. Also, be sure to use hashtags that have between 5,000 to 800,000 posts because that way your posts have lower competition.

# 3: Be consistent on Your Posts By Using Apps like Planly & Later

    • Use these apps to batch content and schedule them for future posts. As a business owner and human in the 21 century is pretty impressive what we can get done in one day, but sometimes we forget. Besides, it is more efficient to batch all your content on one day for the entire week instead of doing random unorganized spot posts. They also help with the analytics to see who is following, who unfollowed you, the best time to post, and who your audience is (their demographics).

# 2: Engage 5 to 10 Minutes Before You Post

    • Instagram’s API tracks engagement as well as the post that you create, so by engaging in the hashtags you use and on other people’s pages  a few minutes before you post you can increase your level of engagement thus creating more of a following.

# 1: Make Sure Your Bio Says Something Related Towards Your Ideal Client and What You Can Do For Them

    • When people are seeing your profile the first thing they see is your picture and then your title/name. If you post your name then that’s it they have a chance to move on having never known what you can do for them. But if you post your title then and what you can help them with then they see your profile as value to help them achieve a result, meaning you get a potential lead for your business. Use the description area to write your name and what benefit you can offer potential clients as a result of working with you.

In today's fast-moving, technology driven economy, business owners are constantly seeking ways to improve on getting their goods and services in front of the public and potential customers. Digital marketing is proving to be the top new strategy for reaching an ever-expanding market. There are many reasons for developing a digital media strategy for your business. Following are a few of the top benefits that will help the growth of your business:

1 - More Value For Your Advertising Dollars
Print ads, radio and television spots, and billboards are all extremely expensive and don't reach anywhere near the volume of potential customers that the social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram reach. Catering to the mobile society of today with their smartphones, ipads, and laptops will give a huge boost to your business at far less cost than traditional advertising methods.

2 - Attention and Focus
By developing a digital marketing strategy, plan on getting a lot of attention. All social media (ie - Facebook, instagram) has the potential of reaching millions of would-be customers for your business. Focus on the best options and plans to draw the attention of new customers, run ads that require an opt-in for customers, give your full attention to growing your customer base.

3 - Target a Specific Audience
If the goods or services your business has to offer are geared more to a particular age group than a general populace, the business experts at Facebook can show you exactly how easily this can be done. Targeting the audience you want to reach can and will make a difference in your sales totals.

4 - Build Your Brand Reputation
'Instant gratification' is the catch-phrase in today's world. Online ordering has now surpassed the brick-and-mortar stores when it comes to shopping for goods and services. Be sure your ads and website offer easy ordering options, then follow up to make sure the customer is happy with your product. Great customer service makes for loyal customers and less negative reviews. Satisfied customers are the best free advertising a business can have.

5 - Know Your Online Market Share
Tracking your market share is easy when using digital media. Ads can be quickly and easily changed to improve the views versus order numbers. You can visit the competition's sites for comparison. You can even target the competitor's audience to draw attention to your business and help grow your customer base.

6 - Measure Your Success
Every action on digital media can be tracked and analyzed, making sure your ROI (return on investment) is right where it needs to be. Every business, in order to survive, must make every advertising dollar count. A strong plan combined with a digital marketing strategy on social media will help your business grow to its highest potential when properly implemented. Success isn't measured by the number of views of your ad but by the conversion of those views to actual sales.

Informative

Facebook teams up with credit companies such as Equifax to find information about people’s incomes levels, employment status, marital status, and more. Their intelligent algorithm uses this data to determine who is more likely to convert into leads which helps optimize your campaign giving you the best results.

Affordability

Facebook ads are super cheap compared to other internet marketing websites like Google. On average your costs can be about 25 cents for every thousand people you reach. That’s very cost-effective.

Reachability

Since they have the largest audience and largest amount of daily users (1.4 billion use the platform daily) then this means you can never run out of people to target and can constantly grow to hit your numbers how you want them.

Expansive

Facebook is expecting to get bigger and bigger by the day. With five new profiles made every second this is a place that is expanding faster than you could even say the words “I’m in!”

Hopefully, you understand why the best of the best are using Facebook to turn profits in 2019. If you are ready to join the elite and utilize the power of Social Media’s most influential player (FB) then contact us to schedule a FREE consultation today to see if we can help your business grow using Facebook ads and other marketing tools.

3 things you must keep in mind when advertising your business online.
By Mike Castillo May 23, 2016
Anyone can make one:
For better or worse, anyone can write a blog post about anything they want. Everyone has a voice and the best voices will rise to the top.

The writer can show their personality:
In blog posts, the writer has more leeway to add in their voice and personality than other types of writing.

Blogs are a great form of mass communication:
You can help people, learn new things, entertain your audience—the possibilities are endless and amazing. Blogging opens up all of these to a very wide audience.

You can make money:

Get the right blog going and you can make a lot of money through advertising and sponsored posts.

It allows people to craft better thoughts:
Instead of reading haphazard, uneducated Facebook statuses, it’s much better to see people’s thought process in a well-written blog post.

You can establish a community:
Blogging allows you to connect with other individuals who share the same interests. Sharing ideas and opinions within your community helps establish yourself as a thought leader.

Good for SEO:
Keeping content on your site fresh and relevant, you can use your blog to boost the search engine ranking (SEO) of your site and your business.

It brings people back to your site:

If your blog is strong enough and updated regularly, people will come back looking for more and bring traffic back to your site as well.

It’s free:
It costs you a grand total of zero dollars to post to the blog, so if you have something to say, there’s nothing to stop you.

You can establish yourself as a thought leader:

A blog is a great place for your original thoughts, and it can be a wonderful way to show off your individuality. If people like your ideas, you can become a thought leader in your industry!
